Coronavirus Testing

  • Many coronavirus testing sites are now providing drive up testing in order to keep patients separated as much as possible while tests occur.
  • The COVID-19/coronavirus test is what is called a nasopharyngeal specimen collection swab.

So what is that? It’s a nose swab. A medical provider will stick a long q-tip up your nose and swish it around, just like they do when administering the flu test. It is uncomfortable.
